Cultivating a Spiritual Sisterhood
I had the pleasure of hosting some Spiritual Sisters at my last Intuitive Women's Circle. And can I tell you, it was just what my soul needed? Sisterhood, spiritual conversation, a mini-meditation, some tarot card readings, and of course, lots of laughter and connection.
I've been hosting these Intuitive Women's circles for more than two years now, and every time I am in awe of the women who attend. I am overwhelmed by the vulnerability and courage these women bring. Every. Time.
These sessions are more than just the monthly themes. Each month, we take 90 minutes to cultivate a sisterhood. I thought I'd share some of the collective insights that we have discovered over the years.
Here are some definitions of Spiritual Sisterhood:
Spiritual sisterhood is a bond between women who share common goals and come together to forward an agenda - in our case, raising our vibration and having some fun!
A Spiritual Sisterhood is a group of women who enjoy discussing all things Spiritual. This cultivates a more profound relationship than just scraping the surface of our lives.
A Spiritual sisterhood is when we love other women unconditionally and consistently.
Spiritual Sisters can be biologically related to you but can also be unrelated biologically. We are connected and tethered energetically and spiritually.
Spiritual Sisters have a "Knowing" of each other - we recognize each other and feel safe to be vulnerable together.
Here are some tricks and tips to bring more sisterhood into our lives:
Look for your sisters around you—you can't find your Spiritual Sisterhood if you aren't open and on the lookout! We are all around you :)
Give compliments freely - this raises the vibration and invites women into your circle.
Energetically remove competition. Competition makes one sister a loser and the other sister a winner—Spiritual Sisters are equal.
Get out of your way to be in control of the relationship. Control lowers our vibration and creates a delineation of power. That, my friends, is not Spiritual Sisterhood.
Our past stories with women can block our path to success with other women—release your old stories and let love in! Abandon the Fear and jump in!
"Sisterhood provides a safe place for your truest self to emerge. It is a place where your tears are caught, not judged: where you are held, not ridiculed: and where it's okay not to be okay." - Makeda Pennycooke
Until next month, my friends! Sending lots of love and light!!!
